Public Outreach
Are you an outgoing individual that enjoys meeting new people? Are you interested in teaching others about the Herring Run Watershed and the efforts of the HRWA? If so, then we need your help with our Public Outreach efforts!
The HRWA is frequently invited to host a booth at local community fairs, park festivals, and greening events such as EcoFest. But our small staff has a very hectic schedule and is often unable to attend these valuable public outreach opportunities.
Please let us know if you would like to be the voice of the HRWA at a local event. Public Outreach volunteers receive a training packet with information about the Herring Run Watershed and the HRWA's efforts to improve our waterways and communities. Our staff will provide you with all necessary visual displays and brochures, and at least one staff member will be present at each event.
